FIRST COMMUNION and PREPARATION

Beginning September of each year, FIRST COMMUNION classes are held every Sunday at 10:00 AM.

The classes are for children who will be at least 7 years old by the following May 1st. 

FIRST COMMUNION for these children takes place at the Chapel on the First Saturday of May.

If you would like to enroll your child, please come to the first class and bring a baptismal certificate issued within the last 6 months by the parish where the child was baptized, unless the child was baptized at the Chapel.


CONFIRMATION and PREPARATION

Beginning September of each year, CONFIRMATION classes are held every Sunday at 10:00 AM.

CONFIRMATION candidates must be at least 11 years old by the following May 1st, and the Sacrament of CONFIRMATION will normally be conferred that same Spring on a date to be announced once this is scheduled with the Bishop.

All applicants must bring a baptismal certificate issued within the last 6 months by the parish where the child was baptized, unless the child was baptized at the Chapel.


TRADITIONAL THIRD ORDER DISCALCED CARMELITES

The Traditional Third Order of Our Blessed Lady of Mount Carmel and St. Teresa of Jesus, dependent upon the Morristown Carmel and approved by the Bishop of Paterson, meets on the First Saturday of each month from 10:45 AM to 2:15 PM.

Open to everyone 15 and up who is interested in Carmelite spirituality and/or Traditional Third Order Discalced Carmelites. 

The meetings begin at 10:45 AM with Lauds from the Divine Office, followed by a conference on the Carmelite method of prayer, with a 2nd Conference after Lunch at 12:00.

The day will end with Procession and Vespers at 2:00PM. 

Please bring your lunch.

THE CONFRATERNITY OF ST. PETER

The Confraternity of St. Peter was founded by the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter on February 22, 2007 as a society of associate members of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter who desire to unite themselves to the Work of keeping Holy Tradition alive in the Catholic Church, and increasing devotion to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.
